How to do it

  1. Set the bench to a 30–45 degree incline.
  2. Lie back and grip the bar at or wider than shoulder-width.
  3. Unrack and lower to your upper chest.
  4. Press up until your arms are straight.
Coach tip: Too steep shifts load to the shoulders. Keep it around 30°.
