Tripod Base Headstand
Step-by-step technique for Tripod Base Headstand, an exercise for shoulders using bodyweight. From the Frog Fitness exercise library.
How to do it
- Start on all fours and place your hands shoulder width apart with fingers spread wide.
- Set the crown of your head on the floor in front of your hands so your head and hands form an equilateral triangle.
- Straighten your legs and walk your feet in until your hips are over your shoulders.
- Draw your elbows in toward your body and lift your shoulders away from your ears.
- Lift your legs toward the ceiling, one at a time or both together once balanced.
Coach tip: Lägg aldrig tyngden i nacken. Låt armarna och bålen bära det mesta av vikten.
