Skater Hops
Step-by-step technique for Skater Hops, an exercise for quads using bodyweight. From the Frog Fitness exercise library.
How to do it
- Stand in an athletic stance with knees slightly bent and chest up.
- Push off with one foot and hop explosively to the side.
- Land softly on the opposite foot, crossing the trailing leg behind you.
- Use your arms as a counterweight to build momentum in the right direction.
- Hop straight back the other way and repeat.
Coach tip: Hoppa så långt du kan i sidled. För korta hopp ger för lite kraft och gör övningen mindre effektiv.
