Side-Lying External Rotation

How to do it

  1. Lie on your side with a light dumbbell in your top hand.
  2. Keep your elbow against your side, bent at 90 degrees.
  3. Rotate your forearm up toward the ceiling.
  4. Lower under control and switch sides.
Coach tip: Very light weight. The rotator cuff is small.
