Wide Push-Up

Step-by-step technique for Wide Push-Up, an exercise for chest using bodyweight. From the Frog Fitness exercise library.

How to do it

  1. Get into a plank position with hands clearly wider than shoulder-width.
  2. Keep your body straight and core braced.
  3. Lower your chest toward the floor with elbows flaring out.
  4. Press back up to the starting position.
Coach tip: Wider hands = more chest, less triceps.
